French User Guide
Welcome to the Power over Pain French User Guide! This page outlines instructions for our Francophone users who require subtitles to access portal resources. We are still working on making all of the resources available in French, so stay tuned for updates!
1. YouTube Subtitles
On the Power over Pain Portal Home page, navigate to the YouTube resource you would like to access in French
Click on the ‘Settings’ icon and select the ‘Subtitles/CC’ option
Look for the ‘Auto-Translate’ option - this should open up a list of languages, including French
Once selected, the YouTube subtitles should appear in French!
2. Website Translation Toggles
On the Power over Pain Portal Home page, navigate to the website resource you would like to access in French
Once on the site, navigate to the top right of the site and click the French toggle to translate the site!
For Chrome browser, once you access the resource you would like to translate, an automatic pop-up should appear that you can select to translate content to French
For Safari, a message icon should appear by the website URL in the address bar. Clicking this icon should enable an option to translate content to French!
